No degree of separation

In our story today, News Pop Music Critic Jeff Miers and I took a look at just a few of the billions of connections among various forms of art, music, film and literature. The story came out of the idea that people who aren't inclined toward one type of art (say, video art installations) will be able to access and appreciate it via another kind of art (say, a Tragically Hip song). This way, we hope, it's easy to create poetry lovers out of filmgoers, theater fans out of hard rockers, and so on.

Watch our audio slideshow on the story here.

Take a look at the story, and, if you're intrigued, write in with examples of your own surprising connections -- using whatever kind of art you please.

Very interesting, unique and imaginative story. You made me want to explore this subject further. Nice job.
