Rob Johnson redux

Let's see: Matt Schaub has just one career start, in which he played very well. Houston pays a big draft-pick price to get him and then gives him a six-year, $48 million contract. Given the inflation rate of the salary cap the past nine years that pretty much equates to the five years and $25 million the Bills gave to Rob Johnson. Johnson wound up getting $18.8 million from the Bills, which worked out to more than $2 million per win he produced. Let's see if the Texans can do better than that. Meanwhile, every time Reggie Bush or Vince Young scores a touchdown for the next five years, Texans fans will feel an ache in their stomachs.
