Injury update
Rookie running back Marshawn Lynch was a no-show in practice again on Thursday because of his sprained ankle. Coach Dick Jauron remains pessimistic about Lynch's chances of playing Sunday. Meanwhile backup running backs Dwayne Wright and Fred Jackson got in some extra work after practice in preparation for their increased work load.
Meanwhile, defensive end Aaron Schobel (stomach virus) returned to practice and will play on Sunday. Also back to work was tight end Robert Royal, who seems to have recovered from a mild concussion. The team will continue monitoring his progress but all signs point to him playing on Sunday.
