OTA day 12
Bills running back Marshawn Lynch was in attendance at practice today but did not participate due to laser surgery he had performed on his eyes on Friday, which was why he missed that day’s practice. The corrective surgery was scheduled long ago. We’re expecting some type of news to come out of an afternoon meeting scheduled between Lynch’s attorney and the Erie County district attorney’s office.
Trent Edwards and J.P. Losman seemed to throw the ball pretty well in windy conditions in the stadium during Monday’s 90-minute voluntary practice. Edwards had a good touchdown throw over the middle to James Hardy in red-zone work. Edwards also squeezed a pass into Fred Jackson in the red zone. Donte Whitner locked up Derek Schouman and Jabari Greer had tight coverage on Hardy to force a throw-away on another red-zone attempt. Not on the field were Jason Peters, Aaron Schobel, Josh Reed, Langston Walker, Will James, Jonathan Banks and Lee Evans.
The Bills have their mandatory minicamp practices Wednesday through Friday this week.
