Estes walking around

Bills offensive tackle Patrick Estes was on the field watching the morning walk-through practice today at St. John Fisher College, which was a good sign for the team. Estes hurt his left leg in Monday night's practice. He's the No. 4 tackle on the roster at the moment, and the No. 3 tackle is probably out for a long time. That's Matt Murphy, who went down with a shoulder injury Monday night. No. 5 tackle Demetrius Bell, the son of Karl Malone, looks very promising in camp. He has a great - and we really mean great - body. He has an ideal "power pack" (a big butt and powerful thighs). But he is very, very green, and it's unrealistic to think he can get on the field in the regular season this year. Estes was not walking around well enough to suggest he's likely to play in Toronto Thursday. So Bell better be ready for about 60 snaps against the Steelers. We'll hear more from coach Dick Jauron about 3:30 p.m.

Giv, I agree , something is not right there. I agree that Peters has outperformed his contract and so do the Bills. Why he has not shown up to camp or had any communication at all is frustrating. He was unable to play in the pro bowl and did not rehab locally , how does someone request a raise and not at least show that he is healthy. This needs to get worked out soon.

Is it possible that the reason Jason Peters is not in camp is that the injury he had at the end of last year is more serious than first reported? Why else would a team player like Jason let his team and teammates down and be subject to the hefty fines.

wow we must have the sorriest group of tackles EVER! Peters being the exception

If Murphy is hurt, maybe Bell does see the field in the season... he's going to have to play so much now, it is unlikely the Bills will be able to hide him enough to get him thru waivers and onto the practice squad. SO if he's on the roster as the 4th OT instead of Estes who has less upside, we could see him.
