Raider ailments

The Bills' defense could catch a break as Raiders running backs Justin Fargas and Darren McFadden are questionable with injuries. Fargas strained his groin during the Raiders ' win at Kansas City last Sunday. McFadden got turf toe after running for 164 yards at K.C.

Fargas has missed the last two days of practices and probably won't play. McFadden wore a walking boot at practice Wednesday, but worked out with the team today. Coach Lane Kiffin hasn't committed to McFadden playing, but the signs are good. Wide receiver Javon Walker also is practicing after being limited Wednesday due to a sore hamstring.

Also, defensive end Aaron Schobel should be licking his chops as left tackle Kwame Harris might miss his second straight game with a knee injury. Mario Henderson made his first NFL start in place of Harris last week and did pretty well. But Henderson didn't play against anyone as good as Schobel, whose sack totals could increase on Sunday.

Geez, USA Today had the final as Oakland 23, Buffalo 21 as a F for Final. I'll have to give them an F for their sports reporting. A big comeback..looks like I'm eating crow.

Looks like the Bills blew this one. So much for the playoff talk if they can't beat a team like Oakland at home. Looks like Oakland may be a team to watch. Two road game wins. For the Bills, back to the drawing board.

Just remember that the Raiders beat the Chiefs handily at Arrowhead. Arrowhead is a tough place to win at. This is the type of game the Bills need to win. Don't even let the Raiders get close and start letting the pundits know you're for real. Nobody is looking or talking about the Bills at the national level as of yet. Time to make them start talking!

I don't think the Bill's are taking this game lightly, maybe salivating at the chance is more like it. They seem to be focused more this year and it starts from the head coach to the offensive coodinator to defensive coodinator to special teams coaches and players. Edwards has his head on straight and speaks the company line as do most players this year. I don't see it being a problem. I see them Kicking A** and taking names saying lookout NFL...we got something to prove and Kiffin will be fired after the Bills beat on them. C'mon Jamarcus Russell is not ready for prime time and looks like a bust. The teams imploding, has no leadership or quarterbacking. The owner is grabbing at straws trying to provide a spark on his millions wasted. The players who have no idea what direction the team is going and who will be coaching them next week. On top of all this Fargas will be out and McFadden has an injured turf toe he's recovering from. Now add 80,000 drunken Buffalo fans screaming at the top of their lungs and defense that is dominating along with improved offense and special teams. Yeah if I were Kiffin I'd be worried. Very Worried! But one thing I'm not worried about is this being a trap game, in fact it is MY pick of the week! Take the Bills and the and 9 & 1/2 pts and run with it. Guarannnn-- T'eed. I say Bills 31-13

It can be a trap game - same with the Rams ....

These are the garbage games the Bills need to kick butt in.

Nothing in the NFL is a free ride -

The Bills can be 4-0 - BUT they must earn it.

How exactly is this a trap game, Boucokee? It's hard to get trapped looking ahead when the next game is against the worst team in the league!

You need to stop smoking the reefer and snorting coke in between periods if you ask me.

This will be a true measure of where this team is and the leadership of it . This could easily be a trap game if they do not stay focused and start believing they are way above the raiders .

This could be a difficult game for Buffalo. The lowly Raiders have beaten them four straight games. Florida papers say the Bills game in Jacksonville was in the hottest weather ever played there; this could have a lingering effect on their energy level against the Raiders. While a 9 point favorite, the Bills cannot afford a mental and physical letdown in this game.
