Who to root for... Tennesee, or Arizona? These teams were nowhere for quite some time.

FIRE THE COACH....once again the Bills were not prepared and out coached....if you fall off the horse get right back on...Edwards should of passed the ball down the field not 10 yards in traffic..let Evans make the play...recap...sorry coaching ...sad ..sad

To conservative, to conservative. Why do you run the ball to get to the 30 and put mega pressure on the kicker? Get as close to the goalline as possible. I know Edwards really stunk up the game however you still needed to let him open up. If it wasn't for Lynch, and the rookie, game over. Edwards was horrible, I would have pulled him. He looked scared and unsure. He had plenty of time to throw. I love my Bills but the play calling was to predictable, they are playing to survive, not win. Go Giants!!

ouch.after a 4-0 start what praise was being given to the team.i said team.all of a sudden everyone is pointing fingers .like the other teams do not deserve the victory.wake up fans and writers.there are more teams in the nfl than the bills.it seems that when they are ready to play anyone buffalo is the team to beat.the pros on the other teams are pros just as much as the bill's players .some nights certain teams win and certain teams lose.thats the way it is .get over it..

I'm honestly prepared for heartbreak. Whenever a Buffalo team is given the big stage, in any sport, they choke. Just part of being part of this community. You get used to disappointment and being the butt of out of town jokes.
Sure, we always want to believe. But deep down, we don't believe. We just know. Futility is in our blood.

Oh, and for all the "Edwards this, Edwards that," his play isn't going to matter that much anyway. The key will be the Bills' pass rush or lack thereof, as usual.
If Denney and Kelsay get pressure on Quinn, the Bills might win.
And if a unicorn craps a burlap sack full of gold bullion on my front porch, I'll be a wealthy man.

My take is the Bills SHOULD BE FIRED UP, They SHOULD play better in the confines of comfy Ralph home crowd of fired up drunken people. They SHOULD be able to run the ball. They SHOOULD be able to pass the ball. They SHOULD play like a wounded animal and attack more on defense. Last but not least they SHOULD WIN! However, they need to play like men again and beat the guy on the other side of the ball. The real question is WILL THEY, I would like to think so, but they need to prove it to themselves first and to us second. It's time to get some respect back and take a step back in the right direction.

Crennelites 24, Juaronians 13
- Jamal Lewis will have his first 100-yard game of the season.
- Brady Quinn will be a non-factor because Cleveland will use an ultra-conservative game plan. He'll make two boneheaded errors, but he'll also make two clutch throws for first downs in the second half.
- Trent Edwards will have a 200+ yard game and play well between the 30 yard lines, but he will have 0 touchdown passes and a second-half interception.
- Marshawn Lynch's rushing total will not exceed 70 yards, but he'll have Buffalo's lone touchdown.
- Buffalo's defense will record a pair of INTs, but zero sacks.

Unfortunately, I don't live in WNY anymore, so I only see the occassional game. I do read the news and follow every thread on the Bills. But I still haven't seen why everyone is so high on Edwards.
Granted, I have a poor view, but I haven't seen anything yet that makes this guy stand out.
Something tells me a lot of this optimism is goold ole Buffalo spirit projected into a hopeful. Hope I am wrong, we'll know in another season as it looks like this is the man they are gambling on.
GO BILLS, GO BUFFALO!!!!!

Can't run the ball and Edwards can't stretch the field. Gosh he hit his head a couple of weeks ago perhaps that is the reason.....more likely you drafted a younger taller version of Kelly Holcomb and the kid just stinks.
Cheer up, he gives a good interview and doesn't quote Yoda.

I don't know what to expect this game. I think that their manhood has been challenged and they are going to be fired up and emotional. That would indicate a big win tonight. But my enthusiasm is tempered by the fact that I still have never seen Edwards play well in cold, windy weather. This is the key question for tonight's game. If Edwards can handle the elements, then the Bills will roll the Browns.

24-3, Browns over the Jaurons.

It's my call?
You'll all see what you've wanted to see in the Bills tonight. A big win, lots of exciting offense, dominating defense and great special teams play.
Then they will disappoint you all and lose most of their remaining games just in time to miss the playoffs...again!
Didn't anyone learn anything from losing 4 Super Bowls in a row?
This has been going on for 40+ years...why would you think it is ever going to change?
Ditto for the Sabres.
Players' performances are the products of their surroundings. Let's face it, when a player gets drafted by or traded to Buffalo, they generally go into a massive bout of depression (see Craig Rivet).
The owner, the coach, teh fans...you all seem pretty content to win 7 games a year...and if you get to .500 you rush the field and tear down the goalposts....LOL

Another chance for Edwards to show he can throw the ball in bad weather.
