Harris played safety with the Sooners but the Bills project him as a linebacker who is expected to compete for a starting job. Mel Kiper, Jr., lists Harris as the 11th best safety in the draft, but the Bills want to put on more weight so he can play linebacker. He runs a 4.79 40 which should be fine to play linebacker. He will also be expected to play special teams.
Harris played free safety as a sophomore and shifted to strong safety where he started 26 of his last 27 games of his career.
