The New Orleans Saints are taking a chance on former Bill Anthony Hargrove, who is back from a year-long drug-related NFL suspension. The Saints need some insurance at defensive end because their starters, Charles Grant and Will Smith, are facing a four-game suspension for the start of the year due to the StarCaps supplement issue. (They took the weight-loss supplement, which had banned substances in it. Their case is under appeal.) Hargrove has made many mistakes. He is now sober, which is why he was reinstated to by the NFL. And he still needs to fulfill the terms of a probation that he received from an arrest in Rochester, N.Y. But I think he's a good kid at heart and I hope he makes the most of another chance he's receiving to revive his football career.
