Jauron tops Trent
Bills coach Dick Jauron was tied for 17th place and quarterback Trent Edwards was tied for 32nd after the first round of the American Century Championship celebrity golf tournament in Lake Tahoe, Nev.
There were 90 players in the field, mostly pro athletes. The event uses a Stableford scoring system, awarding 6 points for an eagle, 3 for a birdie, 1 for a par, 0 for a bogey and minus-2 for a double-bogey or worse.
Dallas QB Tony Romo led with 27 points. Jauron had 16. Edwards had 11, which was tied with Ben Roethlisberger and Steve Spurrier, among others.

Jauron should be proud -- finishing in 17th place is better than he's ever done in the NFL.
