Steve McNair: 1973-2009

The news about the death of Steve McNair on Saturday afternoon shocked football fans around the country. McNair will be remembered for his toughness and performance on the field. For Bills' fans, he'll be associated with playing for Tennessee against Buffalo in the "Home Run Throwback" playoff game.

What memories do you have of this three-time Pro Bowler?

Comments

None.

2 things are what come to mind most. 1st, I remember seeing one his Alcorn State games while I was in the UK in the USAF. 2nd, I remember how he was brought along in the league. They added a little more each year...4 starts his rookie year and 8 his 2nd year in the league. I really think, to this day, that was the best way to bring a young QB into the league and I had really wanted the Bills to use the McNair model in bringing Losman along.
