Due diligence at QB
The Bills' workout of journeyman quarterback Patrick Ramsey by all indications was a case of the team doing its due diligence. The Bills bring in a handful-to-a-slew of free-agent prospects almost every Tuesday during the season. They usually bring in a bunch in what amounts to a mini midseason minicamp during the bye week. That probably will take place next week. They're not planning on switching third-string quarterbacks. Gibran Hamdan is safe. We'll have an update on Trent Edwards later today after practice. He's scheduled to do some football work today. The Bills are working in the fieldhouse.

You are right, but don't stop there. Your DE's weight 243 and 265 lbs.respectfully. Running backs are that big. You'll be hard pressed to find a O-lineman under 300lbs. When the running backs are getting in your secondary untouched with a full head of steam you better get some 300lb linebackers. PS I don't blame the db's for not wanting to OR not being able to tackle them.

Hi Mark
Your funny. Why would they want to switch the 3rd string QB. He and Brian Moorman are the only 2 that are having OUTSTANDING years.
I'd like to see some due diligence in reporting from the media in Buffalo.

Due diligence would have been upgrading at the linebacker and offensive line positions this offseason. Don't give this organization credit where it's NOT due.

A good O-line would make Edwards or Ramset or Joe the Plumber look like the second coming of Darryl Lamonica. The O-line we actually have makes the offense we have (face it we have some really really good talent at WR and RB) look mediocre.
Get solid line play and we'll talk. Until then, there's no point.

The wheels of this well-oiled machine continue to turn night and day. The Bills are truly a model franchise.
