Poz to be back Sunday?
The Buffalo Bills' beleaguered linebackers may get some help Sunday.
A source within the team confirmed to The News' Allen Wilson that starting middle linebacker Paul Posluszny has told teammates he hopes to play when Buffalo visits the New York Jets.
Posluszny has missed four games after breaking his left arm in the season opener at New England. He suffered the same injury, also at New England, two seasons ago.
Posluszny's initial recovery time was expected to be at least six weeks. After the Jets, the Bills visit Carolina and host Houston before the bye week.
If he receives medical clearance, Posluszny's return would come at a good time. The Bills are down two linebackers after Marcus Buggs and Kawika Mitchell suffered season-ending knee injuries against the Browns.
Mitchell was making his first start at the mike for the Bills because Buggs proved ineffective after Posluszny went out.
What do you think? Is Posluszny putting himself at risk by rushing back from injury? And given the team's state, how much of a difference will it make?
