T.O. not going to Cabo

Too bad the Bills' season has been such a buzzkill so far. We're missing out on Terrell Owens breaking out his sense of humor on a more regular basis.

Owens cracked a playful joke today when asked whether he was going to go to Los Angeles to catch a Lakers game during the Bills' bye weekend.

“Possibly. You never know. I’m definitely not going to Mexico, not going to Cabo,” Owens said.

Of course, that was a reference to the firestorm that occurred in Dallas after the 2007 regular-season ended and Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo went to Mexico with then-girlfriend Jessica Simpson during a bye week before the start of the playoffs.

Owens continued:

“I’m just going to kind of relax,” Owens said. “I may go through Dallas and then go onto L.A. and just try to get a little relaxation in. I think at this point in time with the season, especially with this team, we’ve had so many injuries, this team needs a break. I think we’ve had a lot of guys dinged up a little bit. Maybe we can come back refreshed a little bit, and maybe that will be the key for us.”

Wait, I think I have it. The Bills practice so hard thru the week that they are too tired to play on Sunday. They need this bye week to rest up so they can come back to practice some more. I also figured out why the LB's and DB's are getting hurt so much is because the D-linemen are fast enough to get out of the way, with the exception of K.Williams, he just gets run over.

Poor reporters, They so want TO to give it heck but he is watching his career fade away and still will not take the bait. I guess Juaron aesthetic coaching style is getting to him.

I though Jauron's practices were like vacation?

"Maybe we can come back refreshed a little bit, and maybe that will be the key for us."

Yeah. Maybe.

Then again, maybe not.
