Free agent linebacker Andra Davis played under Bills defensive coordinator George Edwards in Cleveland in 2004. Davis a 3-4 inside backer who visited the Bills Tuesday, was released by Denver last week.
Davis on Edwards: "Ever since then (2004) we’ve constantly been on the phone with each other. Even though he was in Miami and I was in Cleveland and Denver, we always had that great communication and a great relationship."
Davis also played with ex-Bill Mario Haggan in Denver last year. "I talked to Mario about 30 minutes last night. He had nothing but great things to say," Davis said.
This was Davis' first visit since being released. "I’m not in a rush. I’m going into my ninth year. I don’t have to make a decision right now. Whatever is the best for me and my family. I’m big on family."
