Anthony Davis, OT, Rutgers
Draft projection: Top half of first round.
Davis is only 20 years old and might be the most talented tackle prospect in the draft. He's not the most polished. But why would he be at his age? At times he played to the level of his competition in the Big East. When he was good, he was great.
He was in Buffalo for a visit with the Bills in late March.
Former Cowboys GM and current NFL.com analyst Gil Brandt on Davis: "Anthony Davis is one of those players that's a risk-reward type of guy. At the combine, he only threw the bar up 21 times. He worked out at his pro day and was just fabulous. I personallyl think he's going to be a very good player. There is some concern he could be heavy. There is some concern about his maturity. If you hit on Anthony Davis, he's going to be an All-Pro, Pro Bowl player."
