Draft watch: Doug Worthington

Doug Worthington, DE, Ohio State

6-5, 292

Draft projection: sixth or seventh round.

Worthington was a Parade All-America (in addition to being All-WNY) at St. Francis High and was rated the No. 2 prospect in the state coming out of high school. He steadily improved in his career at Ohio State. He started 11 games as a sophomore, 10 as a junior and had 13 starts as a senior. He made 42 tackles as a senior and was named honorable mention All-Big 10. He played tackle in the 4-3 scheme for the Buckeys but looks like a pretty good prospect as a 3-4 end in the NFL. He has ideal size to play in the 3-4 scheme.
