Kawika Mitchell was given Saturday off, leaving the linebacker position even thinner since Paul Posluszny, Chris Kelsay and Keith Ellison are sidelined with injuries. Fortunately for the Bills, Mitchell is healed from surgery to repair a torn quadraceps. The team just decided to give him a day of rest.
Meanwhile, defensive end Marcus Stroud had to leave the field before the end of practice because he apparently got overheated. He was taken to the cooling tent before heading off to the locker room.
