There has been no update on how close the Bills are to signing first-round draft pick C.J. Spiller. But a breakthrough might be close at hand.
Cornerback Joe Haden and linebacker Rolando McClain, the seventh and eighth picks, have signed deals and the 10th pick, defensive end Tyson Alualu, is reportedly close to an agreement with the Jaguars.
Once that is done, the Bills will have the parameters for a deal should be set for Spiller. Haden and McClain reportedly received five-year deals worth $50 and $40 million, respectively.
