T.O. lobbies Pats

Terrell Owens took to the airwaves to promote his VH1 reality series this week and on Wednesday he told a Boston radio station he'd love to play for the Patriots. "I'm like LeBron (James)," Owens told WJMN. "I can go there and take less of a role, take less money and put everything aside and make it work." The ideal time to lobby Pats coach Bill Belichick, however, was in March. We still believe that Owens set his financial bar too high. Had he gone, hat in hand, and offered to play for the minimum ($855,000 for Owens) plus incentives, we think he would have struck a deal somewhere.
