It's not often an opposing player gets riled up to play the Bills in recent years, but that's not the case with Baltimore Ravens middle linebacker Ray Lewis.
Still smarting from Sunday's overtime loss at New England, Lewis had a message for the Bills, who visit the Ravens on Sunday.
“We are going home and then we are going to the bye week,” Lewis told the Baltimore Sun. “It’s going to be rough on Buffalo.”
Call it bravado or confidence, but Lewis' statement reflected the ill mood of his Ravens teammates after losing to the Patriots, a team Baltimore dominated in the playoffs last year.
I thought the Ravens might be looking past the Bills if they had won Sunday. Doesn't look like that will happen now.
The Bills better have gotten plenty of rest during their bye, but they might be catching Lewis and the Ravens at a bad time.
