Bills nose tackle Kyle Williams did not practice Thursday after injuring his hamstring the day before. It is not known how badly he's hurt. Coach Chan Gailey said there is a chance Williams could practice Friday, but Gailey didn't sound overly optimistic about that.
Williams has been the Bills' most effective defensive lineman, so losing him would be a major blow against a Cincinnati Bengals team looking to get their running game going. His potential absence would mean more playing time for rookie nose tackle Torell Troup, but the team's depth would take a hit because they have no other nose tackles behind Troup.
The Bills' D-line is already going to be short-handed with backup end Spencer Johnson out with his own hamstring injury.
