Florida State quarterback Christian Ponder, Auburn defensive tackle Nick Fairley and Georgia outside linebacker Justin Houston all are visiting the Buffalo Bills today.
Ponder could be an option for the Bills with the 34th overall pick, if they do not choose a quarterback in the first round and if he lasts that long in the draft. He went 21-10 for Florida State but had a better junior year than senior year. Fairley, the top defensive tackle in the draft, figures to be taken in the top eight, if not the top three. The Bills have two defensive tackles in Kyle Williams and Torell Troup, so Fairley is not viewed as a favorite to go to Buffalo. Houston is likely to go in the later half of the first round or maybe the top of the second. He played defensive end as a junior for the Bulldogs and had 7.5 sacks in 10 games. Georgia switched to a 3-4 defense last season, and Houston converted to outside linebacker. He had 10 sacks in 13 games.
