The Road to the Draft: OT Marcus Gilbert

Marcus Gilbert, OT, Florida

6-6 ½, 329 pounds.

Draft projection: fourth or fifth rounds.

Lowdown: Gilbert is one of the mid-round tackles in the draft who might interest the Bills. Buffalo coaches worked with him at the Senior Bowl, but his week was cut short by a toe injury. Gilbert started 30 games at Florida, on the right side as a junior and on the left as a senior. But he projects as a right tackle in the NFL. His father, Jeff, is a retired secret service agent who protected Presidents Clinton and George W. Bush, and candidate Barack Obama on the campaign trail.
