Chan on streak: It's irrelevant

Bills coach Chan Gailey said he has not mentioned the Patriots' 15-game winning streak over the Bills yet this week, and it doesn't sound like he's planning to do so.

"No, it's irrelevant to this game," Gailey said.

The Bills have just four players who were there for the start of the streak in 2003 - Chris Kelsay, Brian Moorman, Terrence McGee and Rian Lindell. They have only seven total players on the roster now who have been around for more than six of the losses (the others are George Wilson, Kyle Williams and Bryan Scott).

Said Ryan Fitzpatrick: "There haven't been many guys who were here for the majority of those games. It is something though. I guess it's significant that we haven't beat them in a long time. I'm going on my third year here and I haven't beaten them. So it's important. They're a division rival. They've been the team that's been at the top of our division for a long time. For us to get there we have to beat them. For us it's going into this game with confidence, kind of carrying what we've done, the momentum we have from the first few games and going out and executing."
