It was a scary scene Sunday when Bills rookie cornerback Aaron Williams was carted off the field on a stretcher in the third quarter of his team's win against the New England Patriots.
On Monday, coach Chan Gailey provided an update on Williams.
"Aaron's going to be [out] a while," Gailey said. "It's not season-ending. ... It's that [collarbone] area. I don't know if it's a break, sprain, separation, but it's bad enough to keep him out a few weeks."
The Bills are down to four healthy cornerbacks, as Terrence McGee is not ready to return from a hamstring injury suffered on the first play of the season. McGee was in the locker room today and said he's feeling better, but wasn't ready to put a time frame on when he may return.
Justin Rogers, a seventh-round pick out of Richmond, is likely to make his debut Sunday when the Bills visit the Cincinnati Bengals.
"He's got to be ready to go," Gailey said.
Gailey also said rookie linebacker Chris White suffered a pulled hamstring against the Patriots and will miss a few weeks.
