Neither Bills receiver Stevie Johnson or safety George Wilson will practice today as a result of injuries they suffered in the team's loss at Dallas Sunday.
Johnson suffered an injury to his shoulder area late in the game. He said he's hopeful of playing but was far from making guarantees.
"We’ll see what happens when we make it to Sunday. ... I’m definitely making progress. In the training room we’ve been doing a lot of treatment. Hopefully we get everything we need so once Friday or Saturday comes around I’m fully confident in going out there and using my arm and throwing people by and all that stuff for the game."
Bills coach Chan Gailey said he hoping Johnson and Wilson will be ready.
"He won’t practice today and we hope we’ll get him out there a little bit Thursday and a little bit Friday and he’ll be ready to go Sunday," Gailey said. "That’s what we hope."
Gailey on Wilson: "He’s another one that won’t practice today, but there’s a decent chance he’ll get to play Sunday. We hope to get him back a little bit tomorrow and a little bit Friday."
Bills linebacker Chris Kelsay, who missed the past two games and four of the past five with a calf muscle injury, said he will practice today and he will play against the Dolphins.
