The Bills have signed defensive lineman Jarron Gilbert, who spent most of the past two seasons on the New York Jets' practice squad. Gilbert, 6-foot-5 and 285 pounds, was a third-round draft pick of Chicago in 2009. He was viewed as a 3-4 defensive end prospect coming out of San Jose State. He was co-defensive player of the year as a senior in the Western Athletic Conference after getting 9.5 sacks from the defensive tackle position. To make room for Gilbert on the roster, the Bills released outside linebacker Antonio Coleman.
