Former Niagara player in trouble

Former Niagara University player Rydell Brooks has been accused of firing a gun at police following a traffic stop this weekend according to this report in the Akron Beacon Journal.

Brooks was arrested following a foot chase with Akron police just after midnight Sunday. Police said Brooks fled from the vehicle and fired shots at the officers in pursuit. Brooks played one season at Niagara before transfering to Akron.
