Report: Brown to interview at UB
Former Notre Dame assistant Corwin
Brown, will
interview with UB today for its vacant head coaching position, a
source told the Chicago Tribune.
Brown served as defensive coordinator for Notre Dame in 2007 and 2008 before assuming a co-coordinator title and ceding defensive play-calling duties to Jon Tenuta in 2009. The Irish finished the '09 regular season with the nation's No. 87 defense; they ranked 39th nationally both in '07 and '08.
Both Brown and UB athletics director Warde Manuel played at Michigan.
