Hamlin goes to Atlanta (UPDATE)

Former UB wide receiver Brett Hamlin announced via his Facebook page that he's joining the Atlanta Falcons.

Said Hamlin: "Got the call finally.. Touchin down in Hot-lanta tomorrow.. Falcons!!!"

What isn't clear is if Hamlin is going to Atlanta for a tryout or if he signed a free agent deal. I'll keep you updated.

UPDATE: Hamlin just sent me a Facebook message saying the Falcons deal is a tryout and that he's
"very thankful for the opportunity."
