Digging Pink at the UB

The on-court results have not been up to the preseason hype for the University at Buffalo women's volleyball team.

But the Bulls scored a different kind of success on Saturday.

In its third annual Dig For The Cure event, the program raised over $4,500 for Roswell Park Cancer Institute.

The Bulls raised money through donations, sales of t-shirts and on money pledged based on their match statistics.

On the court, Buffalo dropped a three-game match to Central Michigan, falling to 2-8 in the Mid-American Conference and 14-12 overall.
