Fairfield tabbed MAAC preseason favorite

Canisius College was picked to finish sixth while Niagara University was selected eighth in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference preseason poll released today. Golden Griffins junior guard Julius Coles was named to the All-MAAC second team while Canisius forward Greg Logins and Niagara guard Anthony Nelson were selected to the third team.
