'Canes, Irish look back at rivalry

---There was a time back in the 80s when Miami and Notre Dame hated each other, but hate wouldn't be the appropriate word to describe how they feel about each other these days. Friday's game at the Sun Bowl in El Paso will be the first meeting between the Irish and Canes since 1990.
