---Just got word from Canisius SID Matt Reinhour that tonight's Niagara-Canisius game at the Koessler Center is officially a sellout. Niagara has dropped 10 of its last 11 games, including four straight, while the Golden Griffins snapped a two-game slide with a 75-73 victory over Iona last Sunday.

Western New York native Bob DiCesare covers UB football, Big 4 basketball and writes an occasional column. He still holds a grudge against Chris Ford who, he's convinced, cost St. Bonaventure the 1970 NCAA basketball championship.
