---One-time St. Bonaventure coach Jim O'Brien is back on the sidelines after being named the coach at Division III Emerson College.
O'Brien also coached at Boston College and Ohio State and took the Buckeyes to the 1999 Final Four before being fired in 2004 for giving $6,000 to Yugoslavian recruit Aleksandar Radojevic. He was given a two-year show-cause penalty by the NCAA, although he eventually win a $2.4 million lawsuit against Ohio State for wrongful termination.
O'Brien coached the Bonnies from 1982-86. He was Atlantic 10 Co-Coach of the Year in 1983, when he led Bona to a 20-10 record and a berth in the NIT.
