Roseboro leaves St. Bonaventure

Roseboro

---The long simmering, “Is Brett Roseboro leaving or staying’’ story can finally be put to rest with the announcement by St. Bonaventure that the sophomore big man is leaving the program.

Roseboro is a decent player who would have contributed next season but playing time was an issue. Coach Mark Schmidt rotation is seven deep – which means plenty of playing time for the top players – and Roseboro averaged just 8.5 minutes a game. Schmidt started the same five in all 31 games last season.

“We appreciate Brett’s efforts with our program for the past two years and wish him well in his future endeavors,” Schmidt said in a statement released by the school.

Roseboro played in 44 games during his career and averaged 1.2 points and 1.8 rebounds in 29 appearances last year. There's no word on where Roseboro might land.
