Source: Bonnies to play N.C. State in Rochester

---St. Bonaventure will host a game at the Blue Cross Arena at the War Memorial in Rochester for the third consecutive season, this time against North Carolina State, The Buffalo News has learned. The game is scheduled for Dec. 20.

The game will be St. Bonaventure's seventh appearance at Blue Cross Arena since 2000. Last year, the Bonnies erased an 18-point lead against Virginia Tech but lost in OT, 76-68. In 2009 against St. John's the Bonnies trailed by seven points in the final three minutes but fell in the final seconds, 69-68.

St. Bonaventure is 1-5 at Blue Cross Arena. Virginia Tech is the sixth different team to visit Blue Cross Arena to take on the Bonnies. Prior to the last two meetings with the Hokies and Red Storm, the Bonnies hosted West Virginia (2005), Syracuse (2003), Charlotte (2002) and Saint Louis (2000).
