UB Names White AD

Danny White, senior associate athletics director at Mississippi, has been named the new athletic director at the University of Buffalo.

White played basketball on Notre Dame's 2002 NCAA team and went on to become Director of Basketball Operations and eventually an assistant basketball coach at Ohio. He was an associate AD at Fresno State from 2007-09.

Athletics are prominent throughout the family. White's father Kevin is the athletic director at Duke and his brother Michael is head basketball coach at Louisiana Tech.
