ATHENS, Ga. -- UB's not the only MAC team stepping up in class for its opener. Here's the rest of today's schedule involving Mid-American Conference teams:
Ohio @ Penn St.
Miami (O) @ Ohio St.
Western Michigan @ Illinois
Bowling Green @ Florida
Iowa @ Northern Illinois
Toledo @ Arizona
A few MAC openers are already in the books. Kent State went up 27-7 at the half against Towson and cruised 41-21. UB plays its MAC opener against the Golden Flashes on Sept. 19 (a Wednesday). Although Kent ran up the points against Towson, it had just 15 first downs and 267 yards of offense. Where did the points come from?
