In case you missed it this weekend, the Buffalo State football team upset top-ranked Wisconsin-Whitewater, 7-6, on Saturday. Understand this was more than just the Bengals knocking off the No. 1 team in the country, a feat difficult to do at any level in any sport, let alone football where sneaking off with a win is more difficult than say, basketball or hockey. UW-Whitewater had won the last three national championships. The program had won 46-straight games and had won 30 straight at home.

The biggest issue if you're on the UW-Whitewater side of the ball isn't the fact that you lost, but how you go about your business this week. From the above linked Wisconsin State Journal story:
“We have some guys in this program who have never practiced after a loss,” said Whitewater coach Lance Leipold, whose team's 30-game home winning streak was also snapped. “But I’m confident in the kids we have here, that they’re going to work hard and accept the challenge.”
