The Bulls are off today as they adjust their schedule for Wednesday's MAC opener against visiting Kent State.
James Potts attended practice Wednesday with his knee wrapped and iced. Again, as I tweeted Wednesday, Potts said the knee tightened on an earlier kickoff return. He's looking at surgery for a torn ACL and is done for the season.
WR Fred Lee practiced on a limited basis Wednesday after missing the Morgan State game. Coach Jeff Quinn said they might limit Lee until Monday as a precaution. Still not sure what ails him but the Bulls have yet to establish a No. 2 threat at wideout. Alex Neutz has 10 catches for 206 yards with 5 TDs and a long of 34. The rest of the receiving corps, excluding TEs, has five catches for 54 yards and no TDs with a long of 24 (Rudy Johnson). Lee's expected to be No. 2 and they'll need him against Kent.
TEs had three catches vs. Morgan State and are up to nine through two games, just two shy of last year's season total.
Kent State lost SR starting CB Norman Wolfe (arm fracture) in the loss to Kentucky.
