Tom Crowley was named director of athletics at Niagara University during a news conference Oct. 4 in the school's Gallagher Center.
Crowley comes to Monteagle Ridge from Butler where he was the Associate Athletic Director for Internal Operations. In that role, he directly oversaw game operations, event management, facilities and budget.
Crowley has a fundraising background, having spent two years at Temple where he increased charitable giving to the athletic department, and four years at Vermont where he was the first fully-dedicated fundraiser for the school's athletic department.
A 1978 graduate of The Wharton School, he was a captain of the 1978 Penn basketball team which went to the NCAA Sweet 16.
