Another verbal recruit for Canisius hockey

by Amy Moritz

It's not official, but according to the Twitterverse, Canisius hockey landed another verbal commitment for next season.

David Parrottino announced last week on Twitter that he will play for the Griffs next season:

Parrottino is a forward from West Bloomfield, Mich. He's playing for the Lincoln Stars of the USHL where he has 17 points (5 goals, 12 assists) in 36 games.

He his a teammate of defenseman Zack Pittman, who signed his national letter of intent to play for the Griffs in the early period.

Let the record show senior Kyle Gibbons, who has 121 career points for the Griffs, is a former member of the Lincoln Stars.

Also let the record show, Canisius can not comment on recruits until they sign their national letter of intent. The next signing period for hockey is in late May.
