The freshman stoped 59 shots in 114 minutes last weekend to help Niagara earn a split at Sacred Heart. His numbers earned him Atlantic Hockey Rookie of the Week Honors.
After Ignangi gave up two goals in a 30-second span just six minutes into Friday's game, Teichroeb took over in net. The Purps lost that game on a last-second goal but Teichroeb came back on Saturday and made 27 saves in a 4-1 Niagara win.
