Spike Lee to speak at Buffalo State

Filmmaker Spike Lee will visit Buffalo to speak at 7 p.m. Sept. 30 as part of the Buffalo State Leadership Lecture Series in the Performing Arts Center at Rockwell Hall (1300 Elmwood Ave.).

Lee will discuss his career as a writer, director, actor, producer, author and educator.

Tickets are $5 for Buffalo State students (limit two per ID) and go on sale at 9 a.m. Aug. 29. Remaining tickets go on sale to the public for $20 ($15 Buffalo State faculty and staff) on Sept. 6. Tickets are available through the box office (9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday) and the Campbell Student Union box office (open from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday).
