Our Joseph Popiolkowski, Jason Silverstein and Nick Agro are out at Warped Tour today out at Darien Lake.
They'll be periodically filing updates throughout the day. Check out Jeff Miers' preview of the event.
Members of three bands — Lostprophets, Every Time I Die and Polar Bear Club — describe their Vans Warped Tour experience.:
5:09 p.m.: Joe says there were a lot of "Let's go Buff-a-lo!" chants during ETID's set.
3:52 p.m.: ETID wrapping up set now. Here's the view from backstage. Loud. --Joe
3:33 p.m.: Keith Buckley of Every Time I Die. --Joe
2:50 p.m.: (See pic below) From left, Tracy Fischer, Barb Buckley, Lily Fischer and Harper Fischer. The Fischers are cousins of Keith and Jordan Buckley, members of Every Time I Die. Barb is their mom. They are cooking up chicken wing sauce backstage and frying wings later today. They do this every year at the Buffalo stop when ETID plays. Michael Buckley, their dad, brought 300 pounds of wings to feed everyone on the tour. --Joe
2:10 p.m.: The Constellations from Atlanta just finished their set on the House of Marley stage. They dedicated one of their "Gospel" songs to the girl who died at the tour stop in Toronto on Sunday. --Joe
1:47 p.m.: Here is the view looking north with the amphitheater lawn behind me. It was warm out, but the heavy breeze is helping keep everyone cool. --Joe
1:39 p.m.: London folk punk act Skinny Lister just wrapped up it's half hour set on the Kia Rio stage. With accordion and upright bass, the five piece was clearly channeling the Pogues and other Celtic acts. Their up-tempo songs had the crowd bouncing up and down. --Joe
1:23 p.m.: Joe notes Buffalo's own Every Time I Die will play at 3:25 p.m. on the Kia Rio stage.
12:45 p.m.: Here's a copy of the complete schedule for the 10 stages, just sent in by Joe:
