The Visiting Poets Series at St Bonaventure University concludes its fall season of readings this afternoon at 4:30 p.m. in The Loft of the Regina A. Smith is the author of eleven books, including "In Memory of My Theories" (O Books, 1996), "Protective Immediacy" (Roof Books, 1999), "Music or Honesty" (Roof Books, 2003), and "Deed" (University of Iowa Press, 2007).

He edits the literary journal Aerial, and publishes Edge Books, which he founded in 1989.

Smith currently teaches at the Maryland Institute College of Art, and has also taught at the Iowa Writers’ Workshop, the Corcoran College of Art + Design, Towson University, and George Mason University.

With Kaplan Harris, associate professor of English and director of the Master of Arts Program in English at St Bonaventure, and Peter Baker, Smith is co-editor of the much-anticipated "The Collected Letters of Robert Creeley" to be published early next year by the University of California Press.
