Bruno Mars post-Super Bowl 'bump' likely to affect secondary ticket agency prices

If you are planning on attending the Bruno Mars show scheduled for First Niagara Center on Monday, June 30th, it might behoove you to make your ticket-buying decision sooner rather than later. As reported on Forbes.com earlier this week, Mars is enjoying a post-Super Bowl "bump," which essentially means tickets are projected to move at much more rapid clip than they might've minus Mars' well-received Halftime Show appearance.

More significantly for folks who routinely use a secondary ticket agency such as StubHub, ticket prices for the Buffalo show reflect the national trend - secondary agency prices have gone from roughly $150 per seat on average to roughly $500 per seat on average. For example, a pair of tickets within the first 8 rows of the front-of-stage 100 section at the arena with a face value of $77 (plus service charges) via Ticketmaster.com were going for $429 each on StubHub this afternoon.

Don't expect these prices to drop as the date of the show approaches, either. Love Bruno? You're not alone. And if you wait too long, it's gonna cost ya!
