The Red Hot Chilli Pipers blasted to fame in 2002 when they won the British talent show “When Will I Be Famous?” There was simply no stopping this group of Scottish musicians brandishing bagpipes calling what they do “Bagrock.” It is no wonder that, with three highly successful albums, the Pipers are in demand from New York to Beijing. Crowds clamor for their renditions of such rock standards as “Smoke on the Water” and “We Will Rock You” (with bagpipes filling in for Freddie Mercury’s vocals).
Featuring twice World Champion snare drummer Steven Graham, the Red Hot Chilli Pipers are blowing into Kleinhans Music Hall at 8 p.m. Saturday. Admission is $35 to $90. For info, call 885-5000.
